S13 Commodities is a Dubai-based international commodities trading company operating across global agricultural markets.
Request
The Request
Before becoming fully operational in the UAE, S13 Commodities needed to establish a compliant ownership and operational structure, secure local banking relationships — all while the business was still in the process of building its local team.
The priority was to launch efficiently, remain compliant and have the right level of financial and corporate support without immediately hiring a large in-house function.
How we helped
How InBusiness Helped
InBusiness supported S13 Commodities from the early setup stage through to ongoing operations by building the corporate foundation of the group in the UAE. This included structuring the holding arrangement in DIFC, setting up of holding firm and establishing the operational trading entity in DMCC – S13 Commodities.
We worked closely with management to enable the business to become operational, assisting with corporate banking arrangements , employee residency matters, and initial accounting and finance support. During the early stages, InBusiness also supported budgeting, financial planning, and the preparation of financial statements until the client established its own internal finance function.
As the business evolved, InBusiness participated on several occasions in board meetings to support discussions around corporate amendments and financial budgeting, while continuing to assist with corporate changes and regulatory matters as needed.
S13 Commodities has worked with InBusiness for over three years, engaging the team on both an ongoing and ad-hoc basis.
Result
The Result
S13 Commodities successfully launched and scaled its UAE operations with InBusiness acting as an external corporate, compliance, and finance partner.
The long-term partnership provides a cost-effective alternative to early in-house hiring, giving the client continued access to a full team of specialists while ensuring regulatory compliance, operational continuity, and flexibility as the business continues to grow.
